The GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler Aluminum Y-Pipe Kit offers a significant upgrade for Subaru vehicles equipped with OEM STI or GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercoolers. The one-piece aluminum casting ensures precise fitment and smooth airflow, while machined flanges guarantee a perfect seal. Constructed with 5-ply, fiber-reinforced silicone couplers, this Y-pipe is designed to maintain its shape even under high boost conditions, while also isolating the intercooler assembly from engine vibrations. The 90-degree turbo outlet coupler is slightly oversized for a custom fit on various stock-location turbo setups, with some trimming potentially required. The kit includes all necessary throttle body couplers, turbo outlet couplers, and stainless steel high-torque clamps for a complete installation. Black zinc-coated hardware is provided to replace unsightly OEM fasteners. This Y-pipe is specifically designed for the following Subaru models when running an OEM STI or GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler: 2004-21 Subaru STI, 2002-07 Subaru WRX, 2004-08 Subaru Forester XT, and 2004-06 Subaru Baja XT. It serves as an essential component for upgrading to an STI or GrimmSpeed TMIC on WRX models and provides improved flow distribution for STI owners.
