Stealthbox 12TW3-D4 Subwoofer Kit with JX500/1D Amplifier

The Raxiom by JL Audio Subwoofer Upgrade Kit provides a significant boost to your vehicle's audio performance by replacing the factory-installed eight-inch subwoofer. The system is centered around the 12TW3-D4 Stealthbox, which utilizes a thin-line subwoofer driver mounted in a precision-engineered, sealed all-fiberglass enclosure for superior sound accuracy and deep bass resonance. Powering the subwoofer is the JL Audio JX500/1D Class D amplifier. This amplifier features a MOSFET power supply capable of delivering 500 watts of power. It includes a variable bass boost at 45 Hz (up to 12 dB) and a low-pass filter with a continuously variable cutoff frequency ranging from 50-200 Hz. The amplifier accepts both hi-level inputs and conventional RCA low-level inputs, allowing for direct integration with the original factory head unit. The installation requires approximately three hours and involves a light to moderate mechanical skill level. The kit includes a comprehensive selection of components: a remote bass control, a 30A Maxi fuse holder, and all necessary cabling including power, ground, and audio interconnects. Please note that this kit is only compatible with 2015-2023 Fastback Mustang models that are equipped with the optional factory subwoofer. It does not fit convertible models.
