This intake combines the benefits of both cold air and short ram designs, minimizing restriction with a short pipe length and minimal bend angles. It incorporates an air straightener for consistent and accurate MAF sensor readings and a custom reusable high-flow air filter with a velocity stack to smooth incoming air. Constructed with GrimmSpeed's signature StealthBox heatshield, this intake not only shields the air filter from engine heat but also conceals components like the ABS pump for a cleaner engine bay appearance. The air filter is positioned to avoid concerns about water ingestion or hydrolocking. Made in the USA, this intake is designed for a straightforward installation, typically taking around 40 minutes, with written and video guides available. This system requires tuning and is not compatible with the factory tune or standard off-the-shelf maps.
