The fold-down steel sides are equipped with four flush-mount tie-down rings, providing strong anchor points for securing various types of cargo. When upright, the sides keep loads contained; when folded down, they create a flatbed surface. For enhanced safety and visibility, the bed integrates a formed headache rack with standard stop, reverse, and side marker lights. The construction utilizes a 100% steel frame designed to resist impacts and withstand heavy use. The deck features 1/8" steel treadplate flooring and a 2" fender skirt for a finished look. This utility bed is built for serious towing, featuring a recessed gooseneck hitch with a 30,000 lbs towing capacity and a 2.5" receiver hitch with a 24,000 lbs towing capacity and 1,800 lbs hitch weight rating. For safety during heavy towing with the receiver hitch, it must be strutted to the truck frame using flat or structural steel at approximately a 45° angle, with pre-cut holes facilitating installation.
