Looking for a wallet-friendly shaft for circle track racing and other uses? Our 2.5-inch DOM (drawn over mandrel) steel shaft provides improved tensile strength and hardness (over regular steel) and won’t break the bank. This driveshaft supports power up to 500 HP, but is only available in 1310-series u-joints and is intended for either shorter shafts or relatively low max RPM. We precision-craft our products to exacting industry standards. Hydraulically straightened tubing built to a .005” total turnout at the center. Tube yokes welded to within a .006” runout on each end. Shafts are computer balanced to less than a ⅛ ounce/inch variance as an assembly. Transmission slip yokes are not included but are available separately. Note that this shaft is painted in white.
