The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a proper and secure installation. Each bracket is meticulously designed using the specific floor pan of the intended vehicle, guaranteeing a precise fit. The construction involves laser-cutting 3/16 inch thick steel, followed by hand welding to ensure excellent weld penetration and overall strength. This robust build prevents bending or warping, even under heat, unlike brackets that can be manipulated by hand. Additionally, there is ample space for drilling custom hole patterns to accommodate less common slider designs or for direct mounting when eliminating sliders is preferred. When installing an aftermarket seat, potential issues such as the activation of the vehicle's warning indicators (airbag, weight, or other sensors) may arise. It may be possible to resolve these by using an electronic resistor, though the end-user is responsible for determining the correct resistor and its compatibility. Professional installation is also recommended for optimal results. The Planted SB046DR Driver Side Seat Bracket is specifically designed for the 1999-2006 Honda S2000 AP1.
