Description

The BDS Suspension Manual Transfer Case Shifter Extension (BDS122422) is an aftermarket component designed to address the need for transfer case indexing when installing taller lift kits on select Ram HD trucks. This indexing improves the front output operating angle for the factory front driveshaft. For gas trucks equipped with a manual, lever-operated transfer case, an additional bracket is required to retain shifter functionality, which this BDS extension provides. Constructed from high-strength steel, this shifter extension is finished in a durable textured black powdercoat for longevity. The extension is specifically intended for use on 6-bolt transmission-to-transfer case mounts. This shifter extension is compatible with 2019-2024 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4WD Gas models. A critical note for fitment is that it only fits models equipped with a manual transfer case. It is not compatible with models that have rear air ride suspension, as indicated by a note on a related lift kit.
