The USP Steel Oil Pan Conversion Kit is engineered as a robust replacement for the factory plastic oil pan found on many Volkswagen and Audi models. The original plastic pan is susceptible to damage from road debris or impacts, especially on lowered vehicles, which can result in costly engine repairs. This conversion kit provides a significantly stronger steel oil pan, mitigating the risk of cracks and catastrophic engine failure. Each kit contains all the necessary components for the conversion: a durable steel oil pan, 20 oil pan bolts, oil pan sealant, and a drain plug. This upgrade is crucial for vehicles that are lowered or frequently encounter unpredictable road conditions. This kit is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with the 1.8T TSI and 2.0T TSI engines. Specific fitments include the Volkswagen GTI (2006-2019), Golf R (2015-2019), Jetta (2006-2019), Passat (2012-2018), Tiguan (2009-2018), and the Audi A3 (2005-2018), S3 (2015-2018), TT (2008-2015), and Q3 (2015-2019), among others. It is important to note that if your factory oil pan does not have an oil level sensor in the center, you will need to order a separate block-off plate.
