Steel Seat Bracket

The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter, bridging the gap between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat. Since vehicle floors are not uniform, a specific bracket is necessary for proper aftermarket seat installation. Planted engineers these brackets by referencing the actual vehicle floor, ensuring a precise fit. Each bracket is constructed from 3/16 inch thick steel, laser cut for accuracy, and hand-welded to guarantee superior strength and weld penetration. The bracket is pre-slotted to accommodate sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers, including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status Racing, and Takata. For sliders with less common hole patterns or for direct seat mounting without sliders, there is additional space available for custom drilling. The bracket is finished with a durable black powder coat. Please note that seat dimensions vary, and it is the end-user's responsibility to confirm seat fitment within the vehicle before ordering. Installing an aftermarket seat, especially one of a different size than the factory seat, may accentuate the steering wheel's natural offset. Furthermore, replacing factory seats can trigger vehicle warning indicators due to the absence of airbag, weight, or other sensors present in the original seats; the use of an electronic resistor to mitigate these indicators is at the end-user's discretion. Professional installation is recommended.
