The Planted driver side seat bracket serves as a critical adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a secure and proper installation. Planted meticulously designs each bracket by referencing the specific vehicle's floor pan, guaranteeing a precise fit. Constructed from 3/16-inch thick steel, these brackets are laser cut and hand-welded to provide exceptional strength and durability, resisting bending or warping. Each bracket comes pre-slotted to accommodate seat sliders from a wide range of popular manufacturers, including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status Racing, and Takata. For sliders with less common hole patterns, or if you prefer direct mounting without sliders, there is ample extra material provided for custom drilling. The bracket is finished with a protective black powder coat and is proudly made in the USA, undergoing three levels of quality control. While this bracket is designed for the Chevrolet Classic (2004-2005) driver side, it's important to note that aftermarket seats vary significantly in shape and size, and not all will fit every vehicle. It is the end-user's responsibility to confirm seat compatibility before ordering components. Additionally, replacing factory seats may trigger vehicle warning indicators (airbag, weight sensors); the use of electronic resistors to mitigate this is up to the end-user. Professional installation is recommended.
