The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a secure and proper installation. Engineered as a vehicle-specific component, it accounts for the variations in floor contours that prevent direct mounting of many aftermarket seats. Each bracket is meticulously laser cut from robust 3/16 inch thick steel and hand-welded to guarantee exceptional strength and durability. For sliders with less common bolt patterns or for direct seat mounting without sliders, there is additional space on the bracket to drill custom holes. The durable black powder coat finish provides resistance to corrosion and wear. When installing an aftermarket seat, it is important to note that factory seats often contain sensors for airbags, weight, and other functions. Replacing a factory seat may trigger warning indicators; the use of an electronic resistor may be a solution, but it is the end user's responsibility to determine compatibility and the correct resistor type. Professional installation is recommended to ensure all components are fitted correctly and safely. This driver-side bracket is designed for the 2011-2018 Ford Focus Mk3, including the 2013-2018 Focus ST and 2016-2018 Focus RS models.
