The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a secure and proper fit. Each bracket is meticulously designed by using the actual vehicle floor as a reference, guaranteeing optimal fitment. Constructed from 3/16-inch thick steel that is laser-cut and hand-welded for exceptional strength, the bracket is then finished with a durable black powder coat. This bracket offers pre-slotted hole patterns to accommodate sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers, including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Scheel-Mann, Sparco, Status Racing, and Takata. For sliders with less common bolt patterns or for direct seat mounting without sliders, there is ample space to drill custom holes. Planted offers two bolt pattern options: Standard, which includes the Recaro slider pattern, and Alternate, which replaces the Recaro pattern with the Cobra & Scheel-Mann slider pattern. It is important to note that Cobra and Scheel-Mann wide sliders may require the Alternate bolt pattern option or slight modification to the standard pattern. Bride sliders often require custom drilling due to their varying widths. Professional installation is recommended. Additionally, replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket one may trigger vehicle warning indicators related to airbags, weight, or other sensors; the use of an electronic resistor may be necessary to resolve these, but it is the end-user's responsibility to determine compatibility and the correct resistor type.
