Steel Seat Bracket

The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, ensuring a secure and proper installation. This approach is taken because vehicle floors vary and are rarely perfectly flat. Constructed from laser-cut, 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded for maximum strength and weld penetration, this bracket is finished with a durable black powder coat. It features pre-slotted patterns to accommodate sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers, including Braum, Cipher Auto, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Recaro, Sparco, and Status Racing. Additionally, there is ample space for drilling custom hole patterns if you are using a slider with an uncommon configuration or wish to direct-mount a seat or side mount without sliders. Planted offers two bolt pattern options: 'Standard,' which includes the Recaro slider pattern but excludes Cobra and Scheel-Mann patterns, and 'Alternate,' which replaces the Recaro pattern with the Cobra and Scheel-Mann patterns. Note that Cobra Wide and Scheel-Mann sliders may require the 'Alternate Bolt Pattern' option or slight modification if using the 'Standard' option. Bride sliders may also require custom hole patterns. It is important for the end-user to determine if their chosen seat will fit within the vehicle prior to ordering. Replacing factory seats with aftermarket ones may also trigger vehicle warning indicators due to the absence of factory airbag, weight, or other sensors; an electronic resistor may be necessary, but it is the user's responsibility to determine compatibility and the correct resistor type.
