The GKTech XE10-SSTR Steering Angle Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the steering capabilities of your Toyota Altezza or Lexus IS200/IS300. This kit transforms the stock steering, which typically offers less than 40 degrees of leading wheel lock, to approximately 45 degrees, providing a much more responsive and aggressive steering response. The adjustable Ackerman function allows for fine-tuning of the trailing wheel lock and front-end grip, which is crucial for drifting and spirited driving. Constructed from robust 4130 billet steel, these CAD-designed and FEA-tested adapters ensure optimal strength and fitment. The kit provides a 30% increase in steering speed, making it suitable for dedicated drift cars as well as grip or street cars seeking a quicker steering ratio. Bump steer has been optimized for a more predictable and stable steering feel, and a 25mm roll center correction is integrated to help manage excessive body roll and maintain proper geometry on lowered vehicles. Installation involves removing the factory tie-rod pickup, a permanent modification. Wheel alignment is required after installation due to the effect on toe.
