Description

The Ridetech 11539535 is a steering box brace kit engineered to reinforce the steering box area on 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvettes. This reinforcement is particularly beneficial for C2 and C3 Corvette models that experience flexing at the steering box, an issue exacerbated by the use of wider front tires. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes without requiring extensive modifications. The effectiveness of this brace was demonstrated during the "48 Hour Corvette" build, where it successfully eliminated frame and box flex even under extreme conditions on autocross and road course circuits, allowing the car to run 315-30-18 tires all around without issue. The brace is constructed from steel and features a black powder-coat finish. It is made in the United States.
