The GKtech Z33X-RCKR-BUNDLE steering rack relocation kit is engineered to resolve steering bind, commonly experienced in drift applications requiring high steering angles. Unlike offset rack spacers that can stress and damage the steering rack seals, this kit relocates the entire rack forward by 30mm. This method provides a more direct and durable solution. Installation requires modification to the OEM subframe, involving cutting, welding, and bracing to accommodate the new rack position. GKtech provides a detailed installation guide and cutting templates to streamline this process. The kit is precision-designed using 3D scans for accurate fitment and includes billet solid steering rack bushings. These solid bushings minimize toe compliance, leading to a more direct feel, improved vehicle control, and enhanced driver feedback. The Z33X-RCKR-BUNDLE is suitable for both Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles. An optional steering shaft extender is available for purchase, which is recommended when relocating the steering rack as the OEM steering column might lose sufficient thread engagement. It is crucial to note that the steering shaft extender must be fitted to the column side of the steering rack coupling, not the rack side. Compatibility Note: This kit will not fit the 350Z/370Z without modification to the main shaft, specifically increasing the flat section where the bolt locates through, all the way down.
