The Borgeson Universal 000655 is a steel steering shaft designed for 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs with manual steering. It connects the factory column to the manual steering rack and replaces the factory rag joint for a tighter, more direct feel. This heavy-duty steel construction with billet steel universal joints improves steering accuracy and feedback while also increasing header clearance.

1979-1993 Mustang Steering Shaft. Heavy duty steel steering shaft. Connects from OEM column to manual steering rack. Without vibration reducer. Billet steel universal joints provide a more positive steering feel and eliminate the factory rag joint for additional header clearance.
