Steering Stabilizer Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS2006SH is a single steering stabilizer mounting kit with an NX2 shock, engineered to improve the handling characteristics of your 1988-1998 Chevrolet or GMC 1500/2500 4WD truck, specifically for models already equipped with an OE stabilizer. Installing larger tires can often lead to increased force on your truck's suspension system. The included BDS NX2 Stabilizer shock features a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design. It incorporates 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, allowing for rapid dampening that adapts to various terrains, whether on or off-road. The shock body has a 2-inch diameter and houses a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, along with self-lubricating seals and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist corrosion and damage from rock chips. Beyond improving immediate handling, the installation of this steering stabilizer kit, especially when combined with a BDS lift kit, can help extend the lifespan of your vehicle's factory steering components by reducing excessive wear. The kit is finished in a durable metallic silver.
