The BDS Suspension BDS2029SH is a steering stabilizer kit engineered to significantly enhance the handling and driving experience of your Jeep CJ5 or CJ7. This kit is particularly beneficial when upgrading to larger tires, as it helps to mitigate common issues such as bump steer and excessive steering wheel feedback, providing a more controlled and comfortable ride. Featuring a durable, bolt-on installation process, the BDS mounting brackets are constructed from robust steel. The kit includes the BDS NX2 Stabilizer, which utilizes a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design. This design incorporates 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for rapid and adaptive dampening across various terrains, both on and off-road. The shocks boast a 2-inch body diameter, a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft, ensuring resilience against road debris and corrosion. Beyond improved handling, this steering stabilizer kit also contributes to extending the lifespan of your original steering components and tires by reducing the impact of steering vibrations and shimmy.
