Steering Stabilizer Mounting Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS2019SH is a single steering stabilizer mounting kit engineered to improve the handling characteristics of the 2004-2008 Ford F150 4WD. Installing larger tires often exerts additional force on a truck's suspension system, leading to issues like bump steer and unwanted feedback through the steering wheel. This BDS kit addresses these concerns by incorporating an NX2 shock, which effectively dampens these forces. The NX2 Stabilizer shock features a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design and 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This technology allows for rapid dampening that adapts to various terrains, whether on or off-road. The shock itself has a 2-inch body, a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist damage from rock chips and corrosion. Beyond enhancing control, the BDS2019SH kit contributes to improved tire wear and extends the lifespan of your front-end steering components. It effectively lessens side-to-side motion that can be caused by wide tires and challenging road conditions. This kit is specifically designed for the 2004-2008 Ford F-150 4WD models. It is important to note that single and dual steering stabilizer kits from BDS will only work in combination with their 4-inch to 6-inch BDS Suspension systems.
