The MOMO C3905 is a steering wheel hub boss kit adapter specifically designed for the Ferrari F40 produced between 1987 and 1998. This adapter facilitates the installation of a 6-bolt MOMO or other steering wheels featuring a 6x70mm bolt pattern onto the vehicle's steering column. It is crucial to note that this adapter is intended for models without an airbag system. Constructed with safety in mind, MOMO was an early innovator in creating collapsible hubs. The C3905 adapter features a design built from a single piece of steel with a spider-like structure attached to an aluminum base. MOMO ensures high safety standards, with many of its hub and steering wheel combinations undergoing stringent TÜV homologation tests, including mechanical strength and crash assessments. This adapter is made in Italy and is compatible with Ferrari F40 models from 1987-1998 without airbags. Please be aware that replacing a steering wheel on cars originally equipped with airbags will disable those systems. MOMO hub adapters are intended for tuning and racing use only. Installation should only be performed by trained professionals who have read the instruction manual, as incorrect installation can lead to steering wheel failure and potential accidents resulting in serious injury or death.
