The Nforcd Stepped Competition Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is engineered for BMW X5 (F15) and X6 (F16) models, offering significant improvements in cooling performance for tuned and remapped vehicles. Constructed with a massive competition core featuring a stepped design for maximum frontal area and airflow, this intercooler boasts 120% more surface area and 120% greater volume than the stock unit, ensuring significantly improved charge air cooling. It is proven to handle well over 800 bhp and is a direct replacement, utilizing standard hoses and OE clip connections. The intercooler has a powder-coated grey finish for durability and an OEM-style appearance. Its core dimensions are 535 mm x 332 mm x 150 mm, with a capacity of 19.2 liters and an approximate weight of 16 kg. Real-world testing shows dramatic reductions in intake air temperatures (IATs).
