The STAGE 2 Hybrid kit is an integrated turbocharger and engine management package for the Alfa Romeo 4C, engineered to deliver significant performance gains while maintaining factory-base component compatibility. The kit replaces the stock compressor housing with a unit machined to house a larger K06-size compressor wheel, paired with modified turbine wheels and a balanced shaft assembly. A motorsport-specification thrust bearing assembly ensures durability under increased load, and the system retains the original vacuum-operated wastegate for reliable operation. Included in the package is a recalibrated Alfa Bosch-based ECU, which features custom tuning developed over 60 hours of dyno testing to safely manage the increased airflow. Installation of this plug-and-play system typically requires 5-6 hours of labor; professional installation is recommended. The kit includes all necessary gaskets and oil lines for a complete conversion. While the system is fully compatible with standard bolt-on modifications such as exhaust, air filters, and high-flow cylinder heads, it is strongly advised that owners upgrade their vehicle's intercooler, suspension, and brake systems to properly handle the increased power output.
