Show original supplier description

The VIS Racing STI Style hood is a custom-made performance enhancement for your 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy. Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood offers a lightweight yet durable upgrade to your vehicle's exterior. The hood utilizes a two-part construction design. The top layer is made of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective coating for a high-gloss appearance. The underside is a smooth, one-piece shell that enhances structural integrity. VIS Racing is transitioning to a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for many of their carbon parts, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter while maintaining or improving durability. Mesh grills cover the vents, adding to the aggressive STI-inspired aesthetic. Due to the intended use, hood pins are required for installation. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws specify otherwise. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. It is recommended to confirm fitment with our team before ordering to reduce the risk of ordering the wrong product. If our sales team confirms fitment and it does not fit, we will take it back with no restocking fees, provided the item is in like-new condition.
