The Hybrid Racing Heavy Duty Transmission Detent Springs offer a significant upgrade for your manual transmission, enhancing shifter performance and feel. With an increased preload and a stiffer spring rate over factory parts, these springs contribute to sharper gear engagements. They are constructed from durable Black Zinc Chromate plated material, suitable for both street and race applications. For the 2016-2021 Honda Civic, including Type-R, Sport, and Si models, these springs result in a more responsive shifter with quicker centering and more pronounced gear engagements. The L/R movement force is increased by over 100% in Sport and Si models, with F/B movements being over 25% stiffer for a crisp engagement. Proper installation requires torquing Honda K-Series transmission detent bolts to 16 lbf-ft (22 N-m / 2.2 kgf-m).
