The GrimmSpeed Stock Downpipe to Aftermarket 3-Inch Catback Adapter is engineered to provide a leak-free connection between your Subaru's factory downpipe and a 3-inch aftermarket catback exhaust. Exhaust leaks are a common issue with modified Subarus, often stemming from the transition between different exhaust components. This adapter offers a direct solution by enabling the use of the stock donut gasket, which is crucial for achieving a proper seal. Constructed from CNC-machined mild steel and finished with a durable zinc coating, this adapter is built for longevity. It features a machined lip that centers the 2-bolt gasket, ensuring proper alignment. The simple bolt-on installation is straightforward, and the adapter is supplied with quality hardware. To guarantee a perfect seal, it includes a GrimmSpeed 3-inch 2x Thick Gasket. This adapter is designed for any turbocharged Subaru equipped with a factory downpipe/j-pipe and a 3-inch catback exhaust system.
