The POR-15 40909 Stop Rust Kit is a 3-step system designed to clean, prep, and coat metal surfaces to permanently stop rust. It creates a non-porous, hammer-tough surface that seals and protects against moisture, chemicals, salt, battery acid, fertilizers, and other contaminants.

This kit is ideal for small projects and touch-ups, such as truck control arms, trailer axles, trailer hitches, small sub-frames, axle replacements, and brake shields. The kit includes an 8 oz Bottle Cleaner Degreaser, an 8 oz Bottle Metal Prep, and a 4 oz Can Rust Preventive Coating in black, along with paint brushes, latex gloves, and detailed instructions.
