Deep cryogenic treatment is a one-time process that permanently improves the performance and wear characteristics of metal components, from brake rotors and engine parts to machine tools and gear sets. All new StopTech Sport Rotors may be ordered with cryogenic treatment for an additional fee.

StopTech Sport Rotors feature symmetric vane and split-core castings for uniform heat distribution. They are protected by a black E-Coat anti-corrosive coating for enhanced durability. The friction surface is double disc ground for optimal performance and extended service life. An optional cryogenic treatment is available to permanently improve the performance and wear characteristics, extending service life and reducing residual stress. The slots help evacuate gasses, dust, and heat, providing increased initial bite and wet weather response. These rotors offer superior resistance to cracks from thermal stress and are direct OE replacements. They are inspected for balance and mill-corrected to a tolerance of less than 2oz.
