Description
This rotor features exclusive Vac-U-Slots machined into its surface to help evacuate gases and dust, shed heat, and keep the brake pad surface clean. In wet conditions, the slots help push water off the braking surface for improved stopping power. The rotor is finished with a black e-coat on the hat, edges, and internal vanes to prevent corrosion, while the braking surfaces have a bare iron finish for optimal brake pad bed-in. Cryogenic treatment permanently improves the performance and service life of the metal by redistributing residual stress, providing protection against warping.
