The Koni STR.T 8750 1087R is a front right strut engineered for the Mazda 3, providing an accessible performance upgrade. Custom-valved by Koni engineers, the STR.T (often referred to as Koni Orange) offers a perfect blend of comfort and performance. It is individually tuned for each specific vehicle application, ensuring optimal damping characteristics. The twin-tube design, a common construction for Koni shocks, utilizes a reservoir tube to manage oil movement, facilitating controlled damping for suspension control. This strut serves as an ideal OE replacement and an entry-level performance option. While offering a significant improvement over stock, the STR.T provides a more compliant ride compared to aggressively stiff performance suspensions, avoiding jarring or excessive bounciness. This specific strut fits various trims of the Mazda 3 from 2004 through 2013, including GS, GS-SKY, GT, GX, i, and S models.
