Description

This rotor is part of the StopTech C42 298 Race Ultra Lightweight Rear Brake Kit, designed for BMW E36 M3 track/race cars. The kit features 4-piston, forged aluminum C42 calipers, significantly lighter than ST40 and Trophy calipers. The 2-piece, 298x20.6mm bi-directional slotted rotors use StopTech's pillar vane construction for 50% better cooling than standard Aerorotors. The reduced rotor diameter minimizes rotational inertia and mitigates pad knockback. Exclusively for racing, C42 calipers lack dust boots, and the kit eliminates the parking brake.
