Pagid RST Red brake pads are formulated for iron discs and are an upgrade for StopTech C42 caliper. The RST4 compound is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This compound has a low but stable torque output across all temps. Bite and modulation are strong but the lower torque output often puts this on the rear axle to custom-tailor braking bias, especially on front-engine GT and touring cars. Pagid RST4 Characteristics: medium friction level, very good fade resistance, stable torque output across all temperatures, good pad wear with very good rotor wear, high initial bite. Front and rear brake compounds should be closely matched to maintain brake balance. Never upgrade one axle and not the other.
