This Stoptech AeroRotor is a 2-piece replacement rotor designed for use with existing Stoptech AeroRotor brake kits. It maintains the same size and thickness as factory rotors in compatible kits but offers enhanced cooling, braking, and handling. The rotor and hat expand independently due to larger drive pinholes, preventing 'coning.' It features an AeroRotor friction ring with a unique internal vane design, pre-assembled to billet aluminum AeroHats with directed standoffs to improve cooling airflow. This patented Aero Rotor vane technology increases airflow by up to 80% compared to standard rotors, leading to improved cooling and reduced track fade. Made with a unique alloy chemistry, the friction ring is more resistant to cracking. The driving pin washers are made of Inconel, an alloy used in aviation and racing. These aluminum-capped two-piece AeroRotors are up to 8 pounds lighter than original rotors, contributing to faster performance and improved maneuverability. This specific rotor is slotted.
