The Tarox front brake pads are designed for the Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) 2.0 280 HP. They are sold as full axle sets and are available in Strada, Corsa, Competizione, and Enduro compounds, each suited for different driving conditions from fast road use to track and race applications.

The Strada compound offers OE size and specification with improved bite and thermal stability, suitable for fast road use. The Corsa compound works from cold, making it ideal for track days. Competizione provides reliable braking power, and Enduro offers a consistent pedal at all temperatures.

The Tarox front brake pads, part number SP0164, are engineered to provide a perfect balance of brake performance without compromising the life of the brake disc. These pads are specifically designed for the Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) 2.0 280 HP and are sold as full axle sets. Available in multiple compounds, these pads cater to various driving needs. The Strada compound offers improved bite and greater thermal stability, maintaining OE size and specification for fast road use. For enthusiasts seeking track performance, the Corsa compound is a favorite due to its ability to work effectively from cold. The Competizione compound is built for reliability and uncompromised braking power, while the Enduro compound features a flat coefficient curve and high output for a consistent pedal feel across all temperatures. It's important to note that higher-performance brake pads generally offer a lower comfort level during daily driving. Comfort features and wear indicators, which are present on OE parts, are included only on Tarox Strada pads. These features are not incorporated into their track-focused compounds. These pads can withstand temperatures up to 600°C, with an optimum operating range between 200°C and 300°C. The hot friction coefficient is 0.42, and the normal friction coefficient is 0.37.
