The Tarox Strada brake pads are engineered as a direct factory replacement for the rear axle of the Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) with the 2.0 280 HP engine. They are specifically formulated to achieve a perfect balance between braking performance and brake disc longevity. The Strada Compound is characterized by its exacting OE size and specification, combined with improved initial bite and enhanced thermal stability, making them suitable for demanding driving conditions. They offer a more progressive feel, allowing the driver to maintain constant control over braking effort. These pads are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C, with an optimal operating range between 200°C and 300°C. It's important to note that comfort features and wear indicators, if present on original equipment (OE) parts, are only included on Tarox Strada pads. These features are omitted from their track-focused compounds (Corsa, Competizione, and Enduro) to prioritize performance. The friction coefficients are rated at 0.37 for normal temperatures and 0.42 when hot.
