Overview

The Eagle Street and Strip Rotating Assemblies is an engine rotating kit featuring a cast steel crankshaft, hypereutectic aluminum pistons, and forged I-beam connecting rods. This kit is designed for a 5.8L/357 cubic inch engine displacement with a 4.040 in. bore and a 3.480 in. stroke. It includes pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, and main bearings.

This specific kit (EAG13202040) provides a 5.8L/357 cubic inch displacement with a 4.040 in. bore and a 3.480 in. stroke, suitable for Small Block Chevy engines. The kit includes a cast steel crankshaft, hypereutectic aluminum pistons with a flat top and two valve reliefs (+7.00cc), and forged 5140 steel I-beam connecting rods measuring 5.700 in. center-to-center. It also comes with pistons, piston rings (Plasmamoly facing), rod bearings, and main bearings, all at stock undersize. The assembly is internally balanced and requires a flexplate with no weights or a neutral flywheel. This rotating assembly is suitable for use up to 500 horsepower. Note that a harmonic balancer, flexplate, or flywheel are not included in this kit. Additionally, cam bearings, gaskets, and oil pumps are also sold separately.
