These DFC 5000 Low-Metallic Street Brake Pads are engineered strictly for street use with StopTech ST40 4-piston calipers and 328mm two-piece Aerorotors. They feature a low-metallic, semi-metallic pad material for moderate initial bite, smooth and quiet modulation, and low dust. The pads are positive molded for consistent material density, post-cured to eliminate impurities, and scorched to minimize break-in time. They are also chamfered to reduce noise and slotted (when applicable) to dissipate heat and prevent fade. A rubber-steel-rubber shim further reduces noise, vibration, and harshness.
