The ACC Performance 48075 is a non-lock up torque converter from the Street Bandit Series, engineered for LT type engines and 700R4 transmissions. This converter is designed to provide significant power gains through reduced rotational mass, potentially by over 22 lbs, making it one of the lightest converters on the market. It features a modified extreme duty stator and a superior turbine design to maximize torque multiplication. It is constructed with new Torrington style bearings and a hardened chrome moly hub. The fins are either 4 corner tac welded or furnish brazed, and the unit undergoes quality inspections at every step, is leak and pressure tested, and digitally balanced. The recommended fluid is Old School Type F for optimal results, and an additional transmission cooler is always advised.
