The MMI Speed Shop Street Demon Series 485HP Package is a comprehensive turbo kit designed for the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si models equipped with K24Zx, K24Z3, or K24Z7 engines. This kit aims to provide a significant power upgrade, capable of producing well beyond 485 horsepower at 25+ PSI when paired with supporting modifications and a built motor. For those on a stock motor, the kit is designed to deliver a 50-100 horsepower gain at a low boost setting of 8 PSI. The package includes a wide array of components to facilitate a complete turbo system installation. Key items include a hybrid turbocharger with a .57 compressor wheel trim and a T3/T4 hybrid design, a TIG welded 321 Stainless steel turbo exhaust manifold, and a large front mount intercooler for efficient cooling of turbocharged air. The kit also features a universal intercooler piping kit made of lightweight aluminum, a turbo oil line installation package, and an aluminum battery box relocation kit to free up engine bay space. Additional components for enhanced performance and control are also provided. These include a boost controller for on-the-fly adjustment, a blow-off valve to protect the turbocharger, and two slim cooling fans that can be used for various cooling applications. An electronic turbo timer is included to ensure proper cool-down periods, extending the turbocharger's lifespan. The package also contains a fuel pressure regulator, a catch can to prevent oil from entering the intake manifold, and a billet aluminum high-flow fuel filter. Completing the kit are a 44mm wastegate to protect against over-boosting, 10 meters of heat wrap to manage engine bay temperatures, a stainless steel downpipe, a radiator hose sleeving kit for enhanced hose strength and aesthetics, a high-flow intake filter, a high-flow breather cap, a wastegate positioning adapter, a wastegate dump tube, and a coolant sensor bung for monitoring water temperature. The manufacturer notes that while many parts are direct bolt-ons, some modifications and fabrication may be necessary, particularly for connecting the downpipe to the existing exhaust system.
