Street Density Motor Mount Pair

The 034Motorsport Density Line Engine Mount Pair is a performance-focused upgrade for MkIV Chassis Volkswagen and 8L & 8N Chassis Audi models. Designed with performance in mind, these mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber, offering increased durability and a more direct connection to the drivetrain without significantly compromising comfort. Unlike factory mounts, the Density Line Mounts are void-free and fluid-free, effectively eliminating unwanted slop. The Street Density version features 60 durometer rubber, resulting in a mount that is approximately 60% stiffer than stock. This increased stiffness leads to greatly reduced drivetrain slop, crisper shifting, and minimal wheel hop. The cast aluminum mount bodies have also been redesigned to withstand the stresses of spirited driving, providing a more direct power transfer. These mounts are a complete, re-engineered performance solution, not simply inserts for the factory mounts. Installation involves replacing the factory engine and transmission mounts with this direct-fit pair. The mounts are compatible with both automatic and 02M manual transmissions. A break-in period of at least 250 miles is recommended for optimal performance and NVH settling. The manufacturer notes that while these mounts enhance driving dynamics, they are not intended for extremely punishing applications or abuse such as aggressive drag racing; for such scenarios, their Motorsport Mounts are recommended.
