The 034Motorsport Street Density Transmission Mount Upgrade is designed to enhance the performance of your factory transmission mount assembly with a high durometer rubber replacement. This mount is a direct, drop-in upgrade for the rear damping medium of the transmission mount. By reducing unwanted drivetrain movement, it ensures improved throttle response and more direct shifts, particularly when used with other 034Motorsport Drivetrain Mount Upgrades. The factory transmission mount assembly, featuring a soft rubber damping medium, can allow for excessive movement, leading to hesitation or lurching during acceleration, deceleration, and shifting. Over time, this stock component can also break down. Manufactured from 65 Durometer Rubber, this performance mount upgrade is engineered to limit unwanted transmission movement. This reduction in "slop" results in crisper shifts and a more connected driving experience. The product has been thoroughly tested by 034Motorsport and independent Audi enthusiasts. Installation is described as straightforward and completely reversible. While rated with None to Low NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) transfer to the cabin, users may experience a slight increase in these factors. This is especially noticeable on vehicles equipped with the Tiptronic transmission. The Street Density Transmission Mount is engineered to work in conjunction with the 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Transmission Mount Insert Upgrade for further reduction of drivetrain movement.
