Street Fire HEI Distributor

This ready-to-run unit features an integrated ignition module and coil, working together to produce a robust spark. The distributor assembly includes a centrifugal advance with coated weights and welded weight pins, ensuring durability and consistent performance. Its QPQ melonized coated distributor gear is built to withstand harsh conditions, mirroring the quality found in MSD's Pro-Billet models. Installation is simplified with an easy one-wire setup. The distributor also incorporates vacuum advance for improved fuel economy and comes with adjustable vacuum advance stop plates for fine-tuning control. It is not designed for extreme RPM or racing applications; for those purposes, the MSD Ignition Pro-Billet HEI Distributor (PN 8365) is recommended. A mechanical advance kit is sold separately (PN 8428). This distributor is backed by MSD's reputation in performance ignition and comes with a one-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Its C.A.R.B.
