Show original supplier description
The DBA SP Street Performance brake pads represent a significant upgrade for drivers looking to enhance their vehicle's braking capabilities beyond standard Original Equipment (OE) specifications. Constructed with a semi-metallic friction material, DBA's Street Performance pads are designed for optimal performance across a range of temperatures, maintaining consistent friction up to 438°C (820°F). They are also scorched for reduced bedding-in time and feature slotted surfaces for better heat dissipation and pad cleaning. Shims are included to help minimize noise. DBA recommends these pads for daily drivers, performance-oriented vehicles, 4WDs, and SUVs. They are also suitable for light commercial and trade vehicles. For optimal braking performance, DBA suggests pairing these pads with their T2 or T3 slotted rotors. It is important to note that vehicle fitment information should be used as a rough guide only, and owners should verify compatibility by comparing their existing brake disc and pad measurements with the specifications provided by DBA, especially due to potential variations in factory brake packages. Technical specifications include a semi-metallic carbon fiber friction material composition, a scorched friction surface, and dimensions of 183.6mm length, 64mm width, and 14.9mm thickness per pad. The set includes four pads (2 inner, 2 outer), and wear sensors are not included.
