Show original supplier description
The Precision Turbo Street & Race 6766 is a high-performance turbocharger engineered to deliver significant power gains for both street and track vehicles. At the core of its design is an exclusive 67mm CEA (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel, CNC-machined from 2618-aluminum forging, which offers higher efficiency and improved transient response compared to traditional designs. Built for versatility, this unit features a 66mm, 76 trim turbine wheel and is available with multiple compressor cover configurations, including standard and ported 'E', 'S', and 'H' styles. Users can also select from a wide range of turbine housing options—such as T3, T4, and specific fitments for Buick, GMC Syclone/Typhoon, and K26 applications—allowing for precise matching to individual engine displacements and manifold layouts. The 6766 series is rated for up to 935 horsepower. The center housing assembly can be configured with either a durable hydrodynamic 360-degree thrust bearing system or an air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA). Professional installation is recommended, as this is a high-performance component that requires a proper engine tune for optimal operation and reliability.
