Street Series Ignition Coils

The OTL Street Series ignition coils from OTL Performance are designed as a direct upgrade for FA20 and FA24 engines, enhancing the performance of vehicles like the 86 and 2015+ WRX. Installation is straightforward as the Street Series coils offer a plug-and-play application for all listed FA20/FA24 fitments. A significant benefit is that no tuning is required for these applications, regardless of the vehicle's power level. While they can be installed and used immediately, the manufacturer notes that professional tuners can achieve even greater results, gaining better timing control higher in the power band for more optimized horsepower. Extensive testing has shown these coils to be effective across a wide range of power outputs, from stock vehicles to those producing over 1,000 whp. This testing revealed improved drivability and power delivery. Specifically, a comparison to OEM ignition coil packs indicates a potential increase of over 10% in power, leading to a smoother idle and more consistent power delivery throughout the RPM range. The stronger spark also helps prevent spark blowout and allows for larger plug gaps in high-boost setups. These ignition coils are backed by an 18-month replacement warranty. They are direct replacements for OEM part numbers including 22433AA541, 22433AA480, 22433AA540, 22433AA640, and 22433AA602. Fitment includes a range of Subaru WRX models from 2015-2025 (FA20DIT and FA24DIT), Scion FR-S (2013-2016), Subaru BRZ (2017-2024), and Toyota 86 (2017-2024) and GR86 (2022-2024) models equipped with FA20 or FA24 engines. An optional harness repair kit is also available to replace any connectors with broken tabs.
