The T2 slots are precisely CNC machined with a bi-symmetrical pattern, which contributes to a quieter and more responsive brake pedal feel. This innovative slotting pattern serves a crucial function: it increases the number of exit points for friction dust and gases. By facilitating their escape, the T2 design enhances the effectiveness of the brake pads, leading to improved stopping power and consistency, especially under demanding conditions.
