Show original supplier description
The DBA Street Series T2 Standard Brake Rotor is engineered by Disc Brakes Australia, a leading manufacturer of performance aftermarket brake components. It is constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron that has undergone Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), ensuring it can withstand the increased stress and heat generated during intense braking applications. DBA's innovative design incorporates the patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system. This system utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, which provide up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency when compared to traditional straight vane designs. This enhanced cooling is crucial for maintaining consistent braking performance and preventing brake fade under demanding conditions. With an outside diameter of 296mm and a vented rotor type, this front brake rotor is built for specific vehicle applications. Its smooth surface type and 5-lug hole configuration ensure compatibility and straightforward installation. The rotor meets stringent quality standards, offering reliable performance for drivers seeking a braking upgrade.
