The Hughes Performance 74-1CE4 is a robust street/strip transmission assembly built for enhanced performance in 4x4 vehicles. Engineered for the 1998-2005 LS application, this unit is capable of handling up to 500 flywheel horsepower, making it suitable for demanding street and strip use. It features a durable 2-piece case design with a convenient bolt-on bellhousing for easier installation and maintenance. This transmission assembly utilizes a forward shift pattern. It is compatible with 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E transmissions and is designed for LSx applications without an input speed sensor. When ordering, be sure to specify your transfer case to ensure correct fitment for your 4x4 setup. The 74-1CE4 is a direct-fit replacement for many GM rear-wheel drive overdrive transmission models, including popular C/K Pick-ups, and has been noted to fit models like the 2010 Silverado 4x4 with a 4L60E transmission.
