StreetFighter Torque Converter

The TCI Automotive StreetFighter torque converter (441301) is engineered for the street/strip enthusiast, offering significant benefits for more radically prepared street machines. This torque converter offers a 1500+ RPM increase in stall over stock, leading to higher RPM launches, quicker reaction times, and lower elapsed times, along with improved low- and mid-range power. Construction features include furnace-brazed fins, needle bearings, a hardened pre-ground pump hub, and computer balancing for reliability. It also includes a heavy-duty front anti-ballooning plate, making it suitable for nitrous applications. Installation hardware is included. Note that the flexplate must be drilled for 7/16" bolts. This converter is specifically designed for Ford C6 transmissions with a 1.375" crank pilot and is compatible with engines including the 351M, 400, 429, and 460. It is recommended for use on high-compression street/strip engines and higher performance cars. Importantly, this torque converter will not fit Ford FE engines.
