The ACT Streetlite Flywheel Kit with CW03 Counterweight (600145-03) is engineered for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance in street and drag racing applications. This flywheel is significantly lighter than OEM, contributing to noticeably improved engine response and acceleration. Its construction features heat-treated forgings for superior strength and toughness, paired with induction-hardened ring gears to ensure maximum life. ACT's XACT Streetlite flywheels are designed with materials properly distributed to maximize strength, lower inertia, and provide good heat tolerance and rigidity. They are CNC machined and dynamically computer-balanced for smooth operation at high RPMs, ensuring reliability. The flywheel is also serviceable, meaning it can be resurfaced without needing to purchase additional parts, making it a durable and cost-effective upgrade. This kit includes the necessary CW03 counterweight, which is crucial for correct external balance on various Mazda RX-7 and RX-8 rotary applications. The flywheel itself is rated SFI 1.1, meeting safety standards for racing. It comes with a 12-month warranty.
